Description
UniversalExtractor E-800 – Maximum Analyte Protection, Flexibility & Throughput
The UniversalExtractor E-800 is designed to deliver the highest analyte recoveries while ensuring maximum protection of heat-sensitive compounds. Its unique analyte protection sensor continuously monitors the solvent level in the beaker and guarantees that a minimum solvent volume is always maintained. This prevents the extract from running dry, avoids analyte degradation, and ensures safe, reproducible concentration throughout all process steps.
Flexible Applications with One Universal System
The UniversalExtractor E-800 supports five different extraction methods within a single universal glass assembly, giving laboratories the freedom to select the optimal method for each application. For low-contaminated or challenging samples, the Large Sample Volume (LSV) glass assembly increases usable sample volume by up to 60%, enabling lower detection limits and improved reproducibility. The system also ensures fast and uniform heating, even for high-boiling solvents such as water or toluene.
Fully Inert Conditions for Maximum Analyte Safety
All components in contact with samples and solvents are made of fully inert materials, eliminating risks of contamination, leaching, or memory effects. An optional inert gas supply can be applied during extraction, rinsing, and drying to protect sensitive analytes from oxidation. If the analyte protection sensor is triggered, the inert gas supply is automatically activated, ensuring continuous analyte safety without operator intervention.
Multitasking for Higher Productivity
With six independent extraction positions, the UniversalExtractor E-800 allows individual process control for each position. Different extraction methods can be run simultaneously, enabling parallel workflows and faster method development. This multitasking capability significantly increases laboratory throughput and operational efficiency.
